Meiden America Switchgear Celebrates Grand Opening and First Shipment

Gray Court, South Carolina, February 9, 2021 - As the flags of the United States, Japan, South Carolina and Meiden were raised above Meiden America Switchgear’s (MAS) Gray Court headquarters, a 21-gun salute rang out to mark the special occasion: MAS’s Grand Opening and first shipment.

Local representatives including Councilman Brown Patterson and a delegation from the Laurens County Development Corporation, along with the Walhalla Honor Guard joined the MAS staff in commemorating this proud occasion.

Despite the challenges associated with founding a new company in the midst of a global pandemic, local management has assembled a world class team of engineers, technicians and business operations leaders who have exceeded expectations across the board, while maintaining a safe working environment. MAS is fortunate to have found a home in Laurens County, and our team is looking forward to many productive years and milestones ahead!
